Cannot play the high-resolution videos.
Problem
Bug in Internet Explorer 8.
Problem description
When you click on one of the high-res video links Internet Explorer 8 displays the following error message:
This bug was still in the current version of IE8 on 29th November 2009 but it is expected that it will be fixed in the near future.
Steps to resolve the problem
There are two solutions to this problem.
The easiest is to simply use the Mozilla Firefox browser. This does not have the Internet Explorer 8 bug and will play the videos perfectly. You can download Firefox free of charge here.
If you do not want to download Firefox you can also work-around the bug using the following steps:
1/ Right-click on the link.
2/ Click Save Target As... on the shortcut menu.
3/ Save the WMV file to your hard disk.
4/ Double-click the WMV file to play it in Windows Media Player.
