I can't understand what is meant by: "Navigate to your DVD-ROM drive and double-click RunVideo".
Videos play from my hard disk but judder or play intermittently from my DVD drive.
My anti-virus software is preventing installation on my hard drive.
When I try to run the videos I get the message "application not found".
Slow DVD drive
When you try to play a video from the DVD drive it judders or intermittently jumps forward.
Some notebook and desktop computers are fitted with very slow DVD-ROM drives. We have even seen this problem with some modern low-cost computers from reputable manufacturers, This can cause problems when playing the videos. If you have this type of DVD-ROM it will also be incapable of displaying regular DVD movies on your screen. There is a very simple solution to this problem. Simply install the videos on your hard drive and do not attempt to run them directly from the DVD. Watch the first video: Setting Up Your Computer for instructions on how to do this.
Unable to install the videos to the hard drive.
During installation anti-virus software interrupts the installation process.
Disable your anti-virus software, install the video, and then re-enable your anti-virus software.
Attempting to run the Autorun.inf file rather than the RunVideo file.
The user double-clicks the wrong file (AutoRun.inf) file expecting this to automatically exectute.
Follow the instructions on the inside front cover of the DVD. The correct file to execute is RunVideo.exe and NOT AutoRun.inf.
I can't understand what is meant by: "Navigate to your DVD-ROM drive and double-click RunVideo".
The user is unable to start the user interface for the video due to unfamiliarity with the Windows operating system.
These instructions are for Windows 7 but you should be able to figure out the small differences if you have Vista or XP.
1/ Right-click the Windows button at the bottom left of the screen and click "Open Windows Explorer":

Windows Explorer appears showing all of the files and disk drives on your computer.
Under the Computer item in the left-most list
you'll see your DVD drive along with all other disk drives on your
computer.
Your screen may look a little different to this as all computers are configured slightly differently.
You need to identify an icon that looks a little like a DVD (see
below):

2/ Click once on the item that says "DVD Drive" or similar:
You now need to look in the Right-Hand pane where you will see
the two files and one folder that are on the DVD-ROM.
One of the files is called RunVideo (or perhaps
RunVideo.exe if your computer has been configured
to display file extensions).

3/ Double-click on the RunVideo file (you need
to click the left button of the mouse twice in rapid succession).
If you find double-clicking difficult you can also right-click and
then click "Open" from the shortcut menu.
The video course now appears on screen. Depending upon the speed of your computer and DVD drive this may take between a couple of seconds and a minute to appear.
4/ Click Setting up your computer for an
important video explaining how to complete setup.

You're now ready to begin using the course.
