Potential Problems and Solutions
I Can't install the practice files.
Problem
Installation of the practice files fails.
Problem description
When an attempt is made to install practice files to to non-standard directory, none of the practice files installs and only the two files unis000.dat and unins000.exe are installed into the directory.
Steps to resolve the problem
From the main menu click Setup and Utilities >>.
- Click Install-reinstall practice files.
- Click Next.
- Accept the license agreement and click Next.
- Click Next again.
- This is the important part. Do not change the folder that
the practice files install into. There is a problem with the install
routine that does not allow installation to a non-standard directory.
You can copy the sample files to another location later if required.
Make sure that the installation directory is left at C:\Practice
as shown below:
- Click Next.
- Click Install.
- Click Finish.
